I feel like dying this morning.
Can't get into sleep for WHOLE NIGHT.
Fever and body aching is killing me.
I was still supposed to have an interview this morning.
Also my back treatment.
I got both appt cancelled.
Dragged myself to consult Dr at 9am plus.



I always eat this when i fall sick.
Is yummy to a sick person. LoL.

Today, is also the day I've been waiting for.
Waiting nervously, anxiously since TUESDAY.
It is the answer from McGraw-Hill [My 2nd interview].
Been placing my phone beside me when i was resting.
Until 2pm plus....my phone rang finally....
and....and....and...
I GOT THE JOB!!!!
How happy am I.
I GOT IT!! I REALLY GOT IT!!
I was so much so excited.
I felt very grateful towards e 2 managers for choosing me.
GOSH!!
Initially i was still worried and have no faith.
Bcoz there are still many other candidates.
Than, i thot if my fever is some kind of bad sign. Haa.
Anyway, i really make it.
Thanks to the 2 managers for trusting me and for giving e chance.
The HR manager will be preparing the employment letter for me.
Where i will be heading to the office in coming week to sign.
Start work only on 1st Apr.

McGraw-Hill Companies Inc. I got it!!
Its a very very big MNC with over 150 years of background?? [not sure e exact age thou].

Well, i actually count myself lucky.
I got both offer from my 1st and 2nd interview.
I turned down the offer from 1st interview thou.
Is also a MNC. But for some reason i didn't take it.
I recommended Lin Qian to that Co.
Good that she got the job.

Alright, now i will go into details of my job scope.

Position Held: Finance Executive

(A) Accounts Payable
- Provide accounts payable support to countries in Asia Pacific including Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Hong Kong, Taiwan, China, Australia, New Zealand, India, Japan, Korea, Vietnam and the Philippines;
- Compliance check on daily reports;
- Error corrections in Lawson;
- Prepare documents to support foreign currency payments;
- Handle queries from Business Units, outsource partner and vendors;
- Report royalty payments and author advancement to IRAS;
- Compile weekly remittance advice summary;
- Apply auto-payments;
- Arrange direct bank debits;
- Provide assistance as and when required to External Auditor, International Forensic Team and Corporate Audit Department.


(B) PIRG (Problem Invoice Resolution Group)
-Resolve PIRG invoices for countries in Asia Pacific including Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Vietnam and the Philippines.
-Report on PIRG statistics.


My job scope seems alien and tough to me. But i'm ready to take up the challenge and will not disappoint the 2 managers! Handling with its branches in Asia Pacific [13 countries] is enough for me to learn. Glad that there is only Asia Pacific that i have to deal with. I think i will be learning alot in McGraw-Hill. I am very much looking forward to it, and is well prepared for the up-coming stress that i will be facing.

My dreams come true. Having the chance to join a big Company, with great career prospect ahead. I own Felicia a meal! I am a happy girl.
